Utah Royals make 15-year-old their youngest signing in club history – Deseret News

The Utah Royals have made history by signing 15-year-old KK Ream to their roster, making her the youngest player in the club’s history. Ream surpasses Ally Sentnor, who was previously the youngest player at 20 years old. Sporting director Kelly Cousins expressed excitement about Ream joining the team and highlighted her readiness for the professional environment. Ream, who has previously played for the U.S. youth national team, has signed a contract with the Royals through the 2027 season.

Born in Utah, Ream previously played for the Utah Royals FC AZ academy before joining RSL Arizona to play with the boys team. Ream’s twin brother, Linkon Ream, attends the Real Sale Lake academy. Ream’s signing with the Royals comes after Gotham FC signed McKenna Whitham at just 13 years old earlier this year. Ream has showcased her talent on the field, including converting a penalty kick during the U-15 CONCACAF championship to help the U.S. youth national team secure victory. Ream expressed her eagerness to join the team in a video shared on social media.
