Fae Farm May Go Offline for PS5 and PS4 Users
In a recent announcement, Phoenix Labs revealed that their cozy fantasy game, Fae Farm, will lose online support for the Steam version effective September 10, at 11:59 p.m. PT. The game’s cooperative online mode will become unplayable after this date, although single-player mode will still be accessible, and the game will remain available for purchase.
The decision to end online functionality on Steam comes amid troubling news for the developers, who have faced layoffs, including a significant round in January 2025, which impacted a majority of the staff. This workforce reduction has previously led to the shutdown of their free-to-play title, Dauntless.
Currently, it remains uncertain whether Fae Farm will also lose online capabilities on PS4 and PS5 platforms. There has been no indication on the PS Store regarding upcoming support discontinuation, and neither Fae Farm nor Phoenix Labs has offered any updates through their social media channels.
