House majority whip Candice Pierucci asserted that Utah’s conservative leadership has facilitated economic prosperity and quality of life, stating that external influences from groups like Vote Save America do not represent Utah values.
Targeted representatives expressed skepticism about the initiative, with some questioning the motivations of outside organizations. Rep. Ken Ivory noted that incumbents welcome competition but criticized the influence of out-of-state funding.
