Utah State Aggies Set for Historic Matchup Against McNeese State Cowboys
LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies are finalizing their 2025 football schedule with the announcement of a historic matchup against the McNeese State Cowboys, set to kick off at 6 p.m. MT on Saturday, September 20, at Maverik Stadium. This encounter marks the first time the two programs will compete against each other.
U.S. broadcast will be available via the Mountain West Network, alongside local coverage on KMYU. Fans can also tune in to KSL Sports Zone for live radio broadcasts, featuring the voice of the Aggies, Scott Garrard.
McNeese State, led by head coach Matt Viator, has experienced notable success within the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), securing seven Southland Conference titles since 2001. However, the Cowboys have struggled in recent bowl appearances, with their last postseason victory dating back to the 1976 Independence Bowl.
As Utah State prepares for the upcoming season, they have one remaining game without a set kickoff time: a matchup against New Mexico on October 25. The Aggies will also face Hawai’i on the road, but no broadcast information for that game is currently available.
