Five Soldiers Injured in Active Shooter Incident at Georgia Army Base


On the morning of an active shooter incident at Fort Stewart, Georgia, at least five soldiers from the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team were shot. The base confirmed that all soldiers received initial treatment on-site before being transferred to Winn Army Community Hospital for further care. Authorities reported that there is no ongoing threat to the community, and the shooter was taken into custody by 11:35 a.m. EDT.
