Utah Valley University Unveils 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Schedule
OREM, UT – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) has announced the 2025-26 men’s basketball schedule, featuring Utah Valley University (UVU) with an 18-game league slate split evenly between home and away matchups. Each WAC team will challenge every other opponent three times during the season.
The Wolverines kick off their WAC campaign on December 29 at the UCCU Center against California Baptist. January promises to be a busy month, with UVU playing on the road at Tarleton State (Jan. 1) and Abilene Christian (Jan. 3), followed by a homestand featuring Southern Utah (Jan. 8), Utah Tech (Jan. 10), and UT Arlington (Jan. 17). After another series of road games, UVU will return for February’s action, including three home games against Abilene Christian (Feb. 5), UT Arlington (Feb. 7), and California Baptist (Feb. 19).
The regular season will close on the road at Southern Utah (March 5) and Utah Tech (March 7) before the Wolverines participate in the 2026 Hercules Tires WAC Basketball Tournament at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas from March 11-14, where the champion receives an automatic NCAA Tournament bid.
UVU had a remarkable 2024-25 season, clinching the WAC regular-season title with a 15-1 record and reaching the WAC Tournament championship game for the first time, subsequently earning a spot in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). Having secured two of the last three regular-season titles (2023, 2025), Utah Valley is solidifying its status as a major contender in the conference.
