Utah State University to Increase Ticket Prices Following Pac-12 Transition and House Settlement

Utah State University Increases Ticket Prices for Athletic Events Amid Pac-12 Transition

Utah State University (USU) has announced an increase in ticket prices for both single-game and season tickets across all sporting events, a decision grounded in the school’s upcoming transition to the Pac-12 and new revenue-sharing agreements following the recent House vs. NCAA settlement, which imposes a $20.5 million salary cap for athletes.

USU’s announcement noted that the price adjustments would vary based on seating locations, introducing a recruitment and retention fee aimed at maintaining competitiveness with similar institutions in the Mountain West, Pac-12, and other NCAA Division I programs. This fee is crucial for supporting student-athletes and attracting top-tier talent to the university.

For the 2025 football season, season tickets will be priced at $168 each. Fans who renew their season tickets by June 16 will retain the previous, lower rates. The university is also introducing premium courtside seating for men’s and women’s basketball games beginning in the 2025-26 season.

Other ticket options include a family plan offering two adult and three youth tickets, designed to be a budget-friendly choice for families attending games. Additionally, group ticket purchases of ten or more will benefit from discounted rates of $30 for adults and $20 for youth.

Tailgate passes for the upcoming football season will start at $125, with priority purchasing available for those who donate a minimum of $500 to the Big Blue Club. Recent graduates and university staff will enjoy discounts of 20% and 15%, respectively, on their season tickets.

As USU navigates these changes, the athletic department emphasizes that these measures are vital for enhancing the overall experience and success of its athletic programs.
