Press Release: Excitement Builds for the 49th Annual Utah Arts Festival
Salt Lake City, UT – The Utah Arts Festival gears up for its 49th year, taking place from June 19-22, 2025, at Library Square. Shauna Lake reported live from the vibrant downtown venue, where festival-goers can expect innovative new features. Aimee Dunsmore, the festival’s Executive Director, highlighted the addition of a tree-shaded area on the west side of the City & County Building, providing a serene urban oasis.
This year’s music lineup boasts notable headliners like Leftover Salmon, Robert Randolph, Souls of Mischief, and Latin Grammy-nominated MV Caldera. Attendees will also enjoy an expanded selection of food and beverage options. Unique opportunities await as artists, including Mason Fetzer, invite the public to participate in a collaborative mural project, contributing one piece at a time.
For families, the Art Yard will feature this year’s theme, "Winter in the Summer." Director Maggie Willis promises exciting activities for kids, including arts and crafts inspired by snow-loving critters and landscapes.
