Fortem Technologies Launches New Headquarters in Lindon, Utah
Lindon, UT – June 17, 2025 – Fortem Technologies, a frontrunner in airspace security, has inaugurated a 51,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Lindon, Utah, significantly boosting its production capabilities for counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS). The facility supports the proliferation of drone warfare, which Fortem CEO Jon Gruen states is transforming the modern battlefield. “Adversaries can target billion-dollar assets with drones costing just thousands,” Gruen remarked, underscoring the urgent need for innovative defenses.
The new headquarters combines Fortem’s operations into one space, expanding its manufacturing area and enabling rapid product development and testing. COO Jim Housinger emphasized the importance of agility in responding to evolving threats posed by small, weaponized drones.
The event featured demonstrations of Fortem’s flagship DroneHunter® interceptor, which efficiently neutralizes aerial threats without explosive force. Utah leaders highlighted the significance of this expansion for state innovation and national security, declaring Lindon a vital hub for defense technology.
As Fortem accelerates production of systems like the DroneHunter® interceptor, it aims to redefine national defense strategies amidst rising drone threats, reflecting an integrated response to modern security challenges.
