Protests Across Utah for “No Kings Day”
SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — On Saturday, June 14, eleven cities in Utah will take part in “No Kings Day,” a nationwide event featuring 12 protests throughout the state. Organizers describe the day as a “nationwide day of defense,” emphasizing that the American flag symbolizes the collective voice of the people, not just that of President Trump.
The Provo protest kicked off the day at 9 a.m. at City Hall, drawing a significant crowd, while another gathering occurred at the University of Utah’s Marriott Library Plaza at 10 a.m.
The protests will take place at the following locations and times across Utah:
- Provo City Hall: 9 a.m. – noon
- Moab, Swanny City Park: 9:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
- Park City, pedestrian bridge over I-80: 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Salt Lake City, University of Utah: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Kanab: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Heber City, County Building and City Hall: 11 a.m. – noon
- Ephraim, Kent’s Market parking lot: 11 a.m. – noon
- Boulder: 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Price: 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
- Ogden, Union Station: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
- St. George, Vernon Worthen Park: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Salt Lake City, Pioneer Park: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
These demonstrations aim to unite individuals against authoritarian leadership, rallying support for democratic values and collective rights.
