Olivia Trautman Joins Utah State Gymnastics Staff as Assistant Coach

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State’s gymnastics program has appointed Olivia Trautman as an assistant coach, announced head coach Kristin White. Trautman will primarily coach the balance beam and provide assistance across other events.

Previously, Trautman spent two years at the University of Oklahoma, contributing to the Sooners’ success as a student assistant coach and interim director of operations during their seventh National Championship season. Her competitive history is impressive, including being part of three NCAA Championship teams and earning the title of NCAA Vault Champion in 2023.

“Olivia’s elite work ethic and passion for gymnastics will be invaluable as we move into a new era of college athletics,” White remarked. Trautman, a Minnesota native, has amassed five perfect scores and ten NCAA All-American titles throughout her career and looks forward to mentoring the next generation of athletes at Utah State.

“I’m eager to give back to the sport and help develop strong and confident women within this program,” Trautman stated. A graduate from Oklahoma in Health and Exercise Science, she furthered her education with a master’s in Higher Education Administration.
