Wildcats Smash Eight Home Runs to Defeat Utah Valley 14-4 and Reach Regional Final

Arizona Wildcats Triumph in Record-Setting Offensive Performance

EUGENE, Ore. – In a stunning display of power, the Arizona Wildcats (41-18) crushed the Utah Valley Wolverines (33-28) 14-4 at PK Park, securing their spot in the Eugene Regional final. Arizona’s offensive outburst set new program records with eight home runs and 14 extra-base hits in a single game.

Mason White led the charge, hitting three home runs—an impressive feat that marks him as the first player in Arizona’s history to achieve this in a postseason game. Other standout performances included homers from Brendan Summerhill, Aaron Walton, Adonys Guzman, Garen Caulfield, and Tommy Splaine, whose eighth-inning home run broke the previous single-game record.

The Wildcats’ bullpen was equally dominant, allowing just one hit over six innings. Casey Hintz earned the win, improving to 7-4, while Michael Hilker Jr. notched his first career save.

With this win, Arizona heads to the Eugene Regional final on Sunday at 7:00 PM MST, where they will face either Cal Poly or Utah Valley. The Wildcats are not only looking to advance but also to continue their record-breaking momentum in the postseason.
