Weber State Football Announces Kickoff Times for 2025 Season
Weber State University’s football team has unveiled its first two kickoff times for the 2025 season, following an announcement from TV partners on Thursday. The Wildcats are set to open their campaign on Saturday, August 30, against James Madison with a kickoff at 4 p.m. MDT. The following week, the team will face Arizona in an 8 p.m. MDT matchup on September 6. Both games will stream live on ESPN+.
In addition, the Big Sky Conference has secured a record four league games selected for linear ESPN broadcasts this season. Notable matchups include Idaho at Montana on September 27, Montana at Sacramento State on October 24, Idaho at Northern Arizona on October 31, and UC Davis at Montana State on November 15.
Power-conference teams are also gearing up for the season. BYU will kick off its season against Portland State on August 30 at 6 p.m. MDT, streaming on ESPN+. Additionally, the Cougars will host Stanford on September 6 at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN. Utah opens its campaign against UCLA on August 30, with a kickoff set for 9 p.m. MDT on FOX.
The Utah State Aggies are set to host UTEP at 5:30 p.m. MDT on August 30 on CBS Sports Network, with further games lined up against Texas A&M and Air Force in the following weeks.
In other sports news, BYU men’s basketball has scheduled a high-profile game against Connecticut in Boston on November 15. Utah Mammoth hockey team has made several offseason signings, including defenseman Nick DeSimone and promising players Daniil But and Dmitri Simashev.
