Highlighting his impressive season was a memorable five-run game against Arizona on May 10, showcasing a remarkable straight steal of home. Jackson’s achievements have him positioned in the top-10 in recorded history for both runs scored and stolen bases.
As he concludes his two seasons at Utah with a career batting average of .363 and 37 stolen bases, Jackson emerges as a significant candidate for the Brooks Wallace Award, joining fellow semifinalists from Baylor and Arizona State.
