WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — An 18-year-old woman, Khadija Mohamed, faces charges for failing to remain at the scene of an accident after allegedly driving with a person on the hood of her vehicle. The incident occurred Saturday at the intersection of 4100 South and Falcon Street.

According to West Valley City Police, Mohamed and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation prior to the accident. During the dispute, the victim climbed onto the hood of Mohamed’s car. Despite the dangerous situation, Mohamed proceeded to drive away with the victim still on the hood. At the intersection, the victim fell from the vehicle and was subsequently hit by another car.
