Anna Grace Phelan, a 19-year-old TikTok star from Jefferson, Georgia, passed away on Friday after her battle with brain cancer. Her family announced the news on her TikTok account, expressing their sorrow and affirming her faith, stating that she “went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” With more than 100,000 followers, Phelan documented her health struggles, receiving millions of views on her videos, where she shared her powerful testimony and her faith in facing her diagnosis.
Phelan graduated high school in May 2024, but shortly before starting her freshman year in college, she was diagnosed with an inoperable stage four malignant brain tumor, as detailed in a GoFundMe page. Her medical journey began in August when she experienced numbness in her face and leg. An MRI confirmed a brain lesion, which was later biopsied, leading to a diagnosis of stage four glioblastoma on September 5. Despite the daunting news, she remained resolute, stating, “I’m just going to trust in the Lord and try to keep pushing forward.”
She continued to share updates on her treatments, including radiation and physical therapy. In one of her final updates on May 14, Phelan revealed her health had deteriorated, and her tumor had grown, stating, “It would take a miracle to fix me here on earth, but I’m not giving up yet.” Phelan worked as a receptionist at Georgia Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Dermatology. She is survived by her parents, brother, and extended family. A funeral service is scheduled at Galilee Christian Church, with gratitude expressed for the prayers received.
