Silver Alert Issued for Missing Hurricane Woman
HURRICANE, Utah, May 24, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for 61-year-old Karri Johnston, who was reported missing after being last seen on Saturday afternoon. Described as a white female with red hair and blue eyes, Johnston stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 176 pounds.
Johnston was last located via phone ping at 4:57 p.m. on Highway 132, just north of Fountain Green, after leaving her home in Hurricane around 6:36 a.m. that same day. She was en route to Layton to visit family but failed to arrive, and her phone is now turned off.
Johnston may be driving a white 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Utah license plate 6U8DF. Family and friends are concerned for her well-being, and local law enforcement is asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.
