The students voiced feelings of being overlooked and expressed a desire for workplaces where they feel welcomed rather than merely tolerated. Students from other institutions also reported anxiety over DEI rollbacks affecting their recruitment and internship opportunities, with concerns that explicit commitments to diversity may vanish soon.
