Utah Royals FC Falls 2-0 to Angel City FC in NWSL Matchup
LOS ANGELES, California (May 9, 2025) – Utah Royals FC endured a tough night at BMO Stadium, succumbing 2-0 to Angel City FC in an NWSL clash, marking their third consecutive defeat and leaving them in 13th place in the league standings with just 4 points from 8 matches.
Head Coach Jimmy Coenraets revamped his lineup, giving defender Madison Pogarch and forward Mina Tanaka their starts. Despite facing a barrage of attacks from Angel City, Utah held firm in the first half, limiting the hosts to just one shot on target.
