Local High School Senior Recognized for Academic Excellence and Community Service
Rock Springs, WY – May 3, 2025 – Lacey Lovato, a distinguished senior at Rock Springs High School, is making waves in her community through her academic achievements and volunteer work. Maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA, Lacey was inducted into the National Honor Society during her sophomore year and is an active participant in the Health Occupations Academy.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Lacey is dedicated to community service, completing over 150 hours, which includes her involvement with the Tigers For Literacy program, where she encourages younger students to develop a love for reading. Furthermore, she volunteers at her church nursery, showcasing her commitment to nurturing the next generation.
Athletically, Lacey shines as a member of the Rock Springs Avengers Club soccer team, a program she has been part of since she was 10 years old. She has played varsity soccer throughout her high school years, showcasing her dedication and teamwork.
Her family’s commitment is evident, as they drove over seven hours to support her today, reflecting the strong community values Lacey embodies. Her accomplishments serve as an inspiration to her peers and the entire Rock Springs community.
