Micah Bernard Signs as Undrafted Free Agent with Tennessee Titans
SALT LAKE CITY — In a significant move for both player and team, former Utah running back Micah Bernard has signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent, following a strong college career that unfortunately went overlooked during the NFL Combine and draft. The announcement was made on April 26, 2025, and was celebrated by the Utah Football program.
Bernard steps into a Titans organization fresh off a challenging 3-14 season. However, the team is already making strides toward improvement. They recently selected Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall pick, setting the stage for a rejuvenated offense. For Bernard, the Titans’ offensive scheme aligns well with his skill set, despite the team’s struggles last season. While their offensive line remains a work in progress, the Titans are looking to bolster it in the offseason.
With exceptional hands and vision as a runner, Bernard brings potential to the Titans’ backfield, which also includes drafted Michigan running back Kalel Mullings and established veteran Tony Pollard. Competition will be fierce, but Bernard’s strong preseason performance could secure him a spot on the final roster.
A standout at Gahr High School in California, Bernard joined Utah in 2019 and made significant strides over his college career. In his best year, he rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored six touchdowns, establishing himself as a crucial player for the Utes. Over his college tenure, he amassed 2,217 rushing yards and 770 receiving yards.
As Bernard embarks on this new chapter, he aims to prove his worth in the league and contribute significantly to the Titans’ rebuilding efforts. For ongoing coverage of NFL players from Utah, fans can turn to KSL Sports’ Locals In The NFL.
