Former Utah State Players Sign with NFL Teams Post-Draft
Logan, Utah – April 27, 2025 – In a promising development for former Utah State football standouts, three players have signed with professional teams following the conclusion of the 2025 NFL Draft. Offensive lineman Wyatt Bowles, long snapper Jacob Garcia, and quarterback Spencer Petras have all secured opportunities to further their careers in the NFL.
Bowles, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound athlete from West Point, Utah, inked a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Rams. Throughout his career at Utah State, he played in 52 games, earning accolades such as four-time academic All-Mountain West honors.

Petras, a 6-foot-5 quarterback from San Rafael, California, gained attention with invitations from both the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs Mini-Camps. His standout season in 2024 marked him as one of the best in school history, boasting impressive statistics.
