Utah State Gymnastics Celebrates Historic Season at End-of-Year Banquet
LOGAN, Utah – Utah State gymnastics marked a monumental season during its end-of-year banquet held Friday night, celebrating the 2025 team’s remarkable achievements, including their first-ever Mountain West title and seventh conference championship overall.
The team not only clinched the Mountain West title but also made a notable advance to the NCAA Regionals—a milestone accomplished for the 28th time in the program’s history. In addition, five individuals qualified for the second round of NCAA Regionals, showcasing the team’s depth and talent.
The banquet honored seven gymnasts for their exceptional contributions throughout the season. Freshman Olivia Orengo received the Newcomer of the Year award, while sophomore Nyla Morabito was named MVP. Graduate Jenna Eagles earned The Rock Award and senior Amari Evans was recognized with the Aggie Spirit Award. Sophomore Isabella Vater was honored for Most Improved, and junior Avery Bibbey received the Aggie Academic Excellence Award. Graduate Brianna Brooks was acknowledged with the prestigious Aggie Legacy Award.
In further recognition, academic coordinator Jeremiah Sievers received the Staff Appreciation Award for his outstanding support of the team.
This season saw Utah State earn eight gymnasts a total of 11 All-Mountain West postseason honors, including one Specialist of the Year—marking the highest number of All-Mountain West recognitions for any school within the Conference. Additionally, the Aggies claimed 26 weekly MW awards, reinforcing their dominance in the league.
