This win secured the Aggies the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Mountain West Tournament. Seniors David Martirosian and Sergi Micó Fenollar were honored before the match for their contributions to the team.
After a close doubles competition, Utah State stormed back in singles with victories at the top two spots in the lineup, followed by wins at the bottom two positions to clinch the match. Micó Fenollar reached 123 career wins, breaking into the top five in combined singles and doubles wins at USU. The Aggies’ sophomore Mohammad Alkotop also had an impressive 16th singles victory of the season.
