Tellechea, an immigrant himself, aims to raise awareness and advocate for the rights of day laborers, emphasizing that seeking work is not a crime. The documentary, sponsored by the Mexican Consulate and an art and cultural organization, highlights the exploitation faced by day laborers and features interviews with experts and advocates. Despite legal rights, most day laborers remain silent out of fear and lack of knowledge of where to seek help. Tellechea hopes to give these individuals a voice and support, emphasizing that they are not criminals but hardworking people seeking employment. Screenings of the documentary are scheduled in Utah, with a free showing at Weber State University on April 11 and Salt Lake Community College on April 18.
