Utah State senior golfers Julio Arronte and Esteban Jaramillo tied for 12th place at the UC Santa Barbara-hosted Gaucho Invite, finishing at even par 216. The team placed ninth overall at 16-over 880, with Boise State ultimately winning the tournament. Arronte recorded his sixth top 20 finish this season, while Jaramillo achieved his third top 20 finish. The team will next compete at the 2025 Mountain West Championship in Oregon.
The tournament, held at the Sandpiper Golf Club in Goleta, California, saw Boise State take the lead with a score of 23-under 841. Luke Cushman of Boise State claimed medalist honors with a score of 9-under 207. Utah State’s John Cook, Toby Heider, and Cole Enlow also competed in the tournament, with Cook tying for 45th place at 9-over 225.
