Keller and Hayton propel Utah to 4-1 victory against Jets

The Utah Hockey Club achieved an impressive 4-1 victory over the NHL-leading Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night. Clayton Keller and Barrett Hayton each contributed a goal and an assist to secure the win. Kevin Stenlund and Nick Bjugstad also scored for Utah, while Karel Vejmelka made 32 saves in goal.

Keller opened the scoring with a power-play goal in the first period, followed by another power-play goal from Hayton in the second period. Stenlund extended the lead with a goal in the second period as well. Although Mark Scheifele scored for the Jets in the third period, Bjugstad sealed the win with an empty-net goal.

With this victory, Utah closed the gap to seven points behind Minnesota for the second wild card spot in the Western Conference. The Jets, on the other hand, suffered just their fourth loss in 12 games but remain at the top of the Central Division. Their next game will be against the St. Louis Blues, while Utah will face the Seattle Kraken.
