Jason Momoa confirms his return for a third ‘Dune’ movie

Jason Momoa has confirmed that he will be appearing in the upcoming third installment of the “Dune” franchise. He played Duncan Idaho in the first movie but did not appear in the second film, as his character dies. However, in the book series, Duncan is resurrected in the form of a clone. Momoa hinted that his character could return in a similar way in the upcoming movie. The third “Dune” movie, set for release in 2026, will see the return of key stars such as Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, and Anya Taylor-Joy. Director Denis Villeneuve promises that the third movie will be different from the previous ones, set 12 years after the events of the second film. Momoa’s return to the “Dune” universe comes as he gears up for the release of “A Minecraft Movie,” in which he stars alongside Jack Black and Danielle Brooks.
