The Utah softball team’s home opener against Saint Mary’s Gaels has been canceled due to unplayable field conditions. The game will not be rescheduled. Fans can now look forward to the Utes hosting the Kansas Jayhawks on Friday at 4 p.m. in the opener of a three-game series. Those who purchased single-game tickets for Thursday’s canceled game can exchange them for another Utah home game free of charge by contacting the Utah Athletics Ticket Office at (801) 581-8849.
