Utah State women’s tennis suffered a 4-1 loss to San José State in their Mountain West Conference opener. The Aggies are now 5-6 for the spring season. San José State claimed the doubles point with wins at the first and third positions, while Utah State’s lone point came from Niyati Kukreti’s win at the No. 4 spot in singles. Despite Kukreti’s victory, San José State clinched the match by winning the next two contests at the second and fifth positions.
