Utah State softball is gearing up for an exciting week as they open their 2025 home slate and Mountain West play. The Aggies will host Utah Valley on March 12 before facing off against San Diego State in a three-game series from March 14-16.
The Aggies are coming off a strong performance at the Lyman Classic, where they scored a program record of 62 runs in five games. Senior infielder Giselle Gonzalez was named both D1Softball National Player of the Week and Mountain West Player of the Week after hitting five home runs and recording 13 RBIs during the event.
Utah State currently ranks in the top-50 nationally in several key statistics, including on-base percentage, doubles, and slugging percentage. The team is looking to build on their success as they face tough competition in the Mountain West Conference.
