Utah mom Elise Caffee is currently in critical condition after being severely burned in a car accident in Mexico. While on the way to a wedding in Cancun with her husband Dan, they were involved in a 10-car pileup caused by a truck full of hot asphalt. Elise was trapped under the car and covered in hot asphalt, leading to severe burns. After being treated in Mexico, she was flown back to Salt Lake City for further treatment in the burn unit.
Elise, a mother of three, is known for sharing her family’s travels on her Instagram page and is a respected editor and book publisher. Her family has asked for prayers and support during this challenging time, encouraging others to join them in a special fast for Elise’s recovery.
