Utah Valley Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams Set to Compete in 2025 WAC Tournament
OREM – The Utah Valley men’s and women’s basketball teams are gearing up to participate in the 2025 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament from March 12-15. The men’s team, led by head coach Todd Phillips, secured the No. 1 seed after an impressive regular season, while the women’s team, led by head coach Dan Nielson, earned the No. 5 seed.
The men’s team will kick off their tournament journey on Wednesday, March 12, facing the winner of the first-round match between Utah Tech and Southern Utah. The women’s team will take on Abilene Christian in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 13.
All games will be live-streamed on ESPN+, with the men’s championship airing on ESPN2 and the women’s championship on ESPNU. UVU fans attending the tournament can join free tailgates before each game at the Orleans Arena. Both squads are aiming for a championship win and an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
