Ten Student-Athletes from Utah State Track & Field Named to Indoor All-Mountain West Team


Utah State track & field had 10 student-athletes selected to the 2025 Indoor Track & Field All-Mountain West team, as announced by the conference. The top three finishers in each event at the MW Indoor Championships earn all-conference honors. Utah State’s 10 honorees rank fourth-most in the conference, with standout performances from athletes such as Landon Bott, Logan Hammer, and Abbie Scott.

Bott earned Utah State’s first gold medal of the championship, winning the men’s 800 meters. Hammer claimed his second-straight Mountain West indoor title in the men’s pole vault, while Scott won a silver medal in the women’s pole vault competition. Other notable performances included Nate Franz winning a silver medal in the men’s shot put, Diego Aguirre-Stewart winning silver in the men’s 200 meters, and Taite Priestley finishing with a bronze.

The men’s DMR squad also earned all-conference honors, finishing second with the second-fastest time in school history. Hammer will next compete at the 2025 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships in Virginia Beach.

The track and field team will kick off its outdoor season at the Utah Tech Open in St. George, Utah, and the Willie Williams Invitational in Tucson, Arizona. Fans can follow the Utah State track and field programs on social media and stay updated on their upcoming competitions.
