Suspect in 2021 Afghanistan bombing that claimed the life of Utah Marine to stand trial in the US

The terrorist responsible for organizing the 2021 suicide bombing in Afghanistan that killed Utah Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover and 12 others has been apprehended and will be prosecuted in the United States, announced President Donald Trump in a recent address to Congress. Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover was killed outside the Kabul airport during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. He was remembered as a brave, honest man who brought laughter to every situation. Hoover’s fiancée, Nicole Wiess, had been planning a wedding upon his return from deployment. Another Utah native, Marine Sgt. Wyatt Wilson, was gravely injured while saving a fellow soldier during the same incident. Sgt. Hoover received several military commendations, including the Combat Action Ribbon, Purple Heart, and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. The terrorist will face American justice for the atrocities committed in Afghanistan, including the death of Staff Sgt. Hoover and 12 others. Hoover was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
