Utah State sophomore Nyla Morabito has been named the Mountain West Floor Specialist of the Week for the third time in her career following her impressive performance against San José State. Morabito scored 9.850 on floor to win her seventh career title, including her fifth this year. She currently ranks second in the MW, tied for 15th in the North Central Region, and tied for 77th in the nation on floor with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 9.860.
Next up, Utah State will host Air Force in its home finale on Friday, March 7, at 7 p.m. This will be a rematch of their previous meeting in which Air Force narrowly won. Following the meet, USU will honor six seniors.
