Utah State men’s basketball suffered a tough loss to Colorado State, falling 93-66 in their regular season road finale. The Rams dominated from the start, outscoring the Aggies by 26 points in the first half. Despite a strong second half effort, Utah State couldn’t overcome the deficit. Ian Martinez led the Aggies with 17 points, while Deyton Albury and Jordy Barnes also scored in double figures. Utah State’s bench contributed 32 points in the game.
The Aggies shot 42.6 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from 3-point range, and 81.3 percent from the free throw line. Colorado State shot 58.2 percent from the field, including 66.7 percent from beyond the arc. Utah State will have a mid-week bye before facing Air Force in their regular season finale on March 8.
