Jaden Springer has signed a three-year deal with the Utah Jazz, as announced by the team. The 2021 first-round pick initially joined the Jazz on a 10-day contract in February and has since appeared in four games, averaging 3.5 points, 1.3 assists, and 1.0 rebounds. Prior to joining the Jazz, Springer played 26 games with the Boston Celtics, averaging 1.7 points. The 22-year-old guard was the 28th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft by Philadelphia and has played a total of 97 games for the 76ers, Celtics, and Jazz over the last four seasons.
Springer’s contract with the Jazz is likely to be non-guaranteed, providing flexibility for potential trade talks during the summer. He may also participate in the summer league and compete for a roster spot in training camp if he remains with the team. In his sole season with the Tennessee Volunteers, Springer averaged 12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists, showcasing his talent on the court.
