Four people expelled from motorhome after it overturned in Washington County

Four adults from West Jordan were hospitalized after their motorhome rolled on Interstate 15 near Leeds. The accident occurred when a tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control and the vehicle to roll into the median. One adult was ejected from the motorhome, with two others airlifted to the hospital due to the severity of their injuries. Fortunately, all injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. The northbound lanes were partially closed for several hours to clear debris. The cause of the tire blowout is still under investigation. Lieutenant Cameron Roden of the Utah Highway Patrol urged drivers to remain focused while on the road, as accidents like this cannot always be predicted. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safe driving practices to prevent similar accidents in the future. Additionally, a separate incident involving a motorhome catching fire in southern Utah resulted in serious burns for a father and two children. Both incidents highlight the potential dangers of motorhome accidents and the importance of vehicle maintenance and safe driving habits.
