Nevada women’s basketball wrapped up its regular season with a 93-75 loss to Utah State. Dymonique Maxie had a strong start, putting the Pack up early, but Utah State battled back to take the lead. Nevada fought hard, with Lexie Givens and Imbie Jones contributing, but ultimately couldn’t overcome Utah State’s lead. Givens recorded a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Maxie led in scoring with 19 points. Jones added 16 points and seven rebounds. Despite the loss, Nevada will now shift its focus to the upcoming Mountain West Tournament, set to start on March 9. The team’s seeding and opponent for the tournament are still to be determined. The Pack will look to bounce back and make a strong showing in the tournament following their regular season finale loss.
