A multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 15 in Sandy caused major delays for commuters heading towards Salt Lake City on Thursday morning. The accident occurred in the northbound lanes near 9800 South, involving a white van that collided with the back of an SUV. Most lanes of the highway were closed to clear the accident, but by 10:30 a.m., I-15 had fully reopened to traffic.
