A 23-year-old woman named Kelli Tedford from New Hampshire was arrested for allegedly contaminating items at a grocery store with her urine over a period of several years and posting videos of it online. Tedford posted these videos on an unknown internet site, showing her contaminating items at Monadnock Food Co-Op in Keene, New Hampshire. The Keene Police Department received an anonymous report about Tedford’s actions on February 14, prompting an investigation.
It is believed that similar incidents may have occurred in Keene and surrounding communities, as videos suggest that the acts go back as far as 2021. The grocery store removed the contaminated products upon notification and issued a recall, urging customers who bought affected items between February 10 and February 15 to dispose of them. The affected products included quinoa, cornmeal, polenta, coconut shreds, and walnuts.
Monadnock Food Co-Op suffered a $1,500 financial loss due to the destroyed merchandise and cleaning costs. Tedford has been charged with Criminal Mischief as a class B felony and has been released on personal recognizance bail pending her arraignment on April 7. Neither Tedford, Keene Police, nor Monadnock Food Co-Op responded to requests for comment.
