Utah Invitational Schedule Updates Revealed

Due to weather conditions, the schedule for this weekend’s Utah Invitational alpine races at the Utah Olympic Park has been adjusted. All races have been moved back by one day, with Giant Slalom now taking place on Saturday, Feb. 8 and Sunday, Feb. 9, and Slalom on Monday, Feb. 10. Races will begin at 9 a.m. each day with free admission on site at the UOP’s Spencer F. Eccles Olympic Mountain Center.

The Saturday race will be an extra RMISA Qualifier race, and team scores will not be kept in this race. However, individual results will still count towards individual qualification for the NCAA Championships. Race officials and teams will reassess conditions on Friday, with a possibility of adjusting the order of disciplines. As of now, the schedule remains the same, with GS on Saturday and Sunday and Slalom on Monday.

Updates will be provided on UtahUtes.com and through the @utahskiteam social media accounts. Despite potential changes due to weather conditions, some form of racing is scheduled each day from Saturday to Monday. Fans can still look forward to an exciting weekend of alpine skiing at the Utah Olympic Park.
