This victory avenged their previous loss to the Wolverines and moved them to second in the conference standings with an 8-1 record. Aspen Thornton and Koi Love also contributed to the win with 13 and 12 points respectively. The Lady Mavs had a strong second half, scoring 49 points and limiting Utah Valley to 42 points to secure the two-point victory.
