The UT Arlington women’s basketball team continued their winning streak by defeating Utah Valley 85-83 in a thrilling game at home. Led by senior guard Taliyah Clark’s 24 points, the Lady Mavs improved their record to 13-7 and remain undefeated at the College Park Center. This victory avenged their previous loss to the Wolverines and moved them to second in the conference standings with an 8-1 record. Aspen Thornton and Koi Love also contributed to the win with 13 and 12 points respectively. The Lady Mavs had a strong second half, scoring 49 points and limiting Utah Valley to 42 points to secure the two-point victory. They will look to continue their success in their upcoming game against Seattle U on February 8th.
