The Utah Utes had a quiet National Signing Day, signing just one player, edge rusher Max Fonoimoana, bringing their 2025 class total to 22 high school signees. Fonoimoana, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound recruit, committed to Utah in January 2024 and will serve a two-year mission before enrolling. Utah did most of its work during the early signing period in December, inking the other 21 signees. The Utes’ 2025 recruiting class is ranked No. 40 nationally and No. 5 in the Big 12 Conference. Key players include running back Raycine Guillory, linebacker Christian Thatcher, linebacker Cyrus Polu, and wide receiver JJ Buchanan. Guillory, a four-star recruit, chose Utah over other top schools. Thatcher became Nevada’s all-time tackles leader, while Polu and Buchanan were also highly coveted recruits. Though Polu is the only consensus four-star player, several others received four-star rankings from different recruiting services. Utah appears to have secured a strong recruiting class for 2025.
