Utah State University had 91 student-athletes recognized on the Mountain West’s fall sports all-academic teams for their outstanding academic achievements in cross country, football, soccer, and volleyball. The university had the third most honorees in the conference, with men’s cross country, women’s cross country, and volleyball leading in their respective sports. Notably, nine student-athletes maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA, including graduate Hannah Davidson, senior Emma Thornley, and freshman Allie Black.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and be a significant contributor to their team. Additionally, the university’s Big Blue Excellence Fund supports student-athletes’ academic success by providing scholarships and academic support.
