Jalen Royals from Utah State Set to Participate in Senior Bowl this Saturday


Former Utah State football player Jalen Royals is set to play in the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama on Saturday, Feb. 1. Royals, a wide receiver, is the only Mountain West player on either roster for this year’s game and will be representing Utah State. Having spent three seasons at Utah State, Royals has an impressive record with various accolades, including being named a College Football Network Third Team All-American and All-Mountain West First Team selection in 2023.

Unfortunately, Royals suffered a season-ending injury after starting in the first seven games of the season, during which he recorded impressive stats including 55 catches for 834 yards and six touchdowns. Throughout his career, Royals caught 126 passes for 1,914 yards and 21 touchdowns, ranking high in various school records.

The Reese’s Senior Bowl is a highly esteemed college football all-star game and a crucial event in the NFL Draft process. This year, more than 900 NFL personnel and over 1100 media members were in attendance. The game will be televised live on the NFL Network for fans to tune in and support their favorite players.
