Tarleton State Women’s Basketball will be facing off against Southern Utah on Saturday at 3 p.m. at America First Event Center, following a recent victory against Utah Tech. Senior guard Miannah Little has been named WAC Player of the Week after scoring a career-high 24 points and making six 3-pointers in a recent game. This is her first weekly award from the WAC and the first for Tarleton State since 2024. The team has been performing well in terms of assists, with 18 assists in the last game and a record-high 25 assists in a previous game this season.
In terms of rebounding, the Texans have been dominating the boards, leading the WAC in rebounding margin and outrebounding their opponents in all WAC games this season. They have four players with at least 10 or more boards in a game.
