Stauber Earns First NHL Shutout, Utah Hockey Club Dominates Golden Knights

Nick Schmaltz scored his first two goals of the season as Utah fell to the Edmonton Oilers 4-3. Despite the loss, Schmaltz praised his team for sticking with it and putting up a good fight, with strong performances from their goaltender and penalty kill. Clayton Keller, Logan Cooley, and Alex Kerfoot also contributed with a goal and an assist each for Utah. On the other side, Vegas saw their five-game point streak come to an end with a 4-3 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Coach Bruce Cassidy expressed disappointment in their execution early on, leading to them chasing the game and ultimately putting themselves in a bad spot. Ilya Samsonov made 22 saves for Vegas in their loss. Both teams will look to bounce back from their respective defeats in their next games.
