Authorities previously accused James Craig of poisoning his wife’s drink with cyanide and tetrahydrozoline, leading to her death. Craig had ordered potassium cyanide weeks before her death and had it delivered to his dental practice. His business partner confronted him about the purchase, leading to authorities being alerted. The defense lawyer for Craig has withdrawn from the case, citing a professional conflict and concerns about his client’s criminal behavior. Jury selection for Craig’s trial has been indefinitely postponed. Authorities have not provided additional details about the new charges.
